Dr. Natalie Rasgon is a Professor in both the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Stanford School of Medicine. With two decades of experience, she has conducted extensive longitudinal, placebo-controlled studies on neuroendocrine functions. Her research predominantly explores the effects of estrogen on depression and menopause through neuroendocrine and brain imaging studies. Dr. Rasgon leads the Behavioral Neuroendocrinology Program and the Women’s Wellness Program within the Department of Psychiatry. Additionally, she established the Behavioral Neuroendocrinology Program, which investigates the interplay between reproductive hormones and brain function.

Longitudinal place bio controlled neuroendocrine studies for nearly two decades, and she has been involved in neuroendocrine and brain imaging studies of estrogen effects on depressed menopausal women for the last eight years. It should be noted that in addition to her duties as a Professor of Psychiatry and Obstetrics and Gynecology, Rasgon is also the Director of the Behavioral Neuroendocrinology Program and of the Womens Wellness Program.

Gian Maria Pacifici taught pharmacology to medical students at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Pisa, Italy, from 1983 to 2014. From 1995 to 2005, he also delivered the complete cellular and molecular pharmacology course to Biological Sciences students at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Pisa. Additionally, he instructed pharmacokinetics to students at the Specialization School of Pharmacology within the Department of Pharmacology at the University of Pisa.

Dr. Yuen currently serves as the Director of Minimally Invasive Gynaecology at Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital. He is also an Honorary Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. From 1996, he was the Consultant and Head of Gynaecological Endoscopy at Prince of Wales Hospital. Dr. Yuen is a pioneer in gynaecological endoscopic surgery in Hong Kong and is widely recognized as an international expert in this field. He is actively involved in numerous international and local conferences and workshops, particularly in China and Southeast Asia. He holds honorary professorships and consultancy roles at nine hospitals in China and contributes as an editor and reviewer for various international and national journals. Dr. Yuen received the Endoscopics Award from China in 2005 and the Endos Award in Medical Science and Technology in 2009. He is a founding board member and former president of the Hong Kong Gynaecological Endoscopy Society and the Asia Pacific Association for Gynecologic Endoscopy and Minimally Invasive Therapy (APAGE), and serves as a board member of the International Society for Gynecological Endoscopy (ISGE) and an international advisor for the American Association for Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL). Dr. Yuen has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles and authored four books on gynaecological endoscopy.

Antonio Simone Laganà, born May 8, 1986, in Reggio Calabria, Italy, specialized in histology, embryology, Clinical Pharmacology, Immunology, General Pathology, and Obstetrics and Gynecology. He trained at Virginia Commonwealth University in uterine fibroid chemioembolization with Prof. Uma Prasad and at Klinicky Centar in Belgrade with Prof. Milan Terzic. He graduated from the University of Messina and is now a Resident Medical Doctor in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Laganà is an “In-Training Member” of the Society for Gynecologic Investigation, a regular member of the Italian Society of Perinatal Medicine, and part of the Giorgio Pardi Foundation’s research team. He is pursuing a Master’s in “Gynaecological Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery” at the University of Pisa with Prof. Vito Cela and is researching Endometriosis and Reproductive Immunology. He has published numerous papers and frequently speaks at international conferences.

Hideyuki Chida is a professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Iwate Prefectural Ninohe Hospital. He completed his education at Iwate Medical University’s Graduate School of Medicine from 2015 to 2017 and earned his medical degree from Jichi Medical University’s School of Medicine between 2002 and 2008.

Michail N. Varras is a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Elena Venizelou General Maternity Hospital in Athens, Greece. He earned his Medical Degree (M.D.) from the Medical School at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Dr. Varras completed a Doctorate in Molecular Biology of gynecological tumors at the Medical School of the University of Crete. Additionally, he holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Health Management from the Economic School at the University of Piraeus and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Reproductive and Regenerative Medicine from the Medical School at Kapodistrian University of Athens

A primary focus of Dr. Michail Varras research is the molecular anatomy in benign and malignant tumors of the female genital tract and correlation with clinical and pathological patients’ parameters. Specifically, he is interested in the effects of IGF system expression in placentas of normal and abnormal pregnancies. Also, his research interests lie in the fetal developmental malformations and in very rare clinical cases in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Wei Yan earned his MD from China Medical University in 1990 and his PhD from the University of Turku, Finland, in 2000. Following postdoctoral training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX, he established his own laboratory at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in 2004. Dr. Yan is currently a Professor of Physiology and Molecular and Cellular Biology. He has authored over 80 peer-reviewed research articles in high-impact journals such as Nature Genetics, PNAS, Nucleic Acids Research, RNA, Molecular and Cellular Biology, and Developmental Biology. His research has garnered several prestigious awards, including the 2009 Nevada Higher Education System Regents’ Rising Researcher Award, the 2009 Young Investigator Award from the Society for the Study of Reproduction (SSR), the 2012 Young Andrologist Award from the American Society of Andrology (ASA), and the 2013 Nevada Healthcare Hero Award for Research and Technology. Dr. Yan serves as a standing member of the NIH CMIR study section and is on the editorial boards of three international journals focused on Reproductive Biology: Biology of Reproduction, Molecular and Cellular Endocrinology, and Asian Journal of Andrology

Dr. Wei Yan research interest lies in molecular and cellular biology and physiology of reproduction. Current specific interests: (1) the regulation of protein turnover by ubiquitination during spermiogenesis; (2) the control of cytoplasm removal during sperm individualization and spermiation (sperm release); (3) physiological roles of germ cell-specific small non-coding RNAs.

Dr. Ralf C. Zimmermann earned his medical degree from the University of Hamburg in Germany. He completed residencies in both obstetrics and gynecology and psychiatry at Yale University. Dr. Zimmermann also completed a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology at the Mayo Clinic. He specializes in treating patients with infertility and endocrine disorders, as well as providing support for those with premenstrual syndrome, menopausal issues, and depression. He has published over fifty articles and abstracts in reproductive endocrinology and psychiatry.
